Though four of five district court vacancies in Pennsylvania have nominees, two of those four continue to be held up in the Senate Judiciary Committee, and another vacancy on the Third Circuit Court of Appeals remains over a year after the vacancy was announced.

Though Judge Susan Baxter and Judge Marilyn Horan have been voted out of committee and should be voted on by the full Senate soon, Judges Robert Colville and John Younge were not voted out of committee last week. Reports speculate that their responses to the committee’s follow-up questions regarding abortion could be the hold up.
